Mutant Message Down Under

No, this isnt a book about Ninja turtles and I have to confess that the title didnt do anything for me either! But my good friend Steve insisted that I read this book and he was absolutely right to recommend it.

The book is the wonderful story of an American woman going walkabout with an Aborigini tribe in the Australian outback. It is a gripping tale with insightful reminders of the power available to us when we are in tune with our surroundings and ourselves.

Incidentally the word “mutant” is how the Aboriginis referred to the American; as someone who was so altered from her natural state that she’d become out of touch with the earth. An excellent “cant–put-down” read that you ll want to pass on to friends!

What the Bleep Do We Know?

I remember when this film first came out in the UK. I felt privileged to receive a postcard telling me where it was being shown and I promptly took myself off to Manchester one rainy afternoon to watch the one screening that was scheduled.

It blew my mind! The film essentially illustrates how our thoughts can create our reality. It does this through discussions with a group of Quantum Physicists and through the use of drama and even cartoons. I walked out of the cinema thinking “ Now what do I wish to create in my life?!” This film is particularly good, in my experience.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

A follow on from “What the Bleep?”, this film caught the imagination of America, selling over a million copies and creating a huge mushrooming industry based on the Law of Attraction.

Whilst a lot more simplistic and materialistic from “What the Bleep?” it still has a wonderfully positive message that can inspire hope.

In fact only recently a student at one of my classes told how reading “The Secret” had transformed her sister back into the happy positive person that she used to be.

If you are new to the Law of Attraction, Cosmic Ordering and how you are essentially the Master of your own life, I recommend that you start your journey by watching this film or reading the associated book “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne.
